The Pinedale Roundup has an excellent article about the latest developments regarding 2018 lab samples appearing to detect fecal coliforms in water samples of Fremont Lake, the drinking water supply for Pinedale. The test results led to an EPA ruling and significant expenditures by the Town in order to address the apparent water quality issue. In June of this year, the Town of Pinedale filed a civil complaint against the water quality lab, Zedi US Inc, claiming negligence in their testing. The Town has agreed to a $175,000 settlement offer by the company on the lawsuit.
