White Pine offers summer RV camping, campground, and cabin lodging
June 12, 2020
White Pine Resort suffered a huge setback last July when a devastating fire burned down their lodge, and the double-whammy of COVID-19 causing the early shut down of their winter ski season and cancellations of scheduled weddings and events. For this summer, they are planning some outdoor recreation services and have their RV sites, campground and cabin lodging available.
They are offering camping, picnicking, RV/tent/walled tent/tipi sites, hot showers and flushing toilets, corral use, horseback riding, pack trips, gear drops, and more. All 6 RV sites have electric and water hookups and there is a dump station on site. All tipis and wall tents have real beds. Linens, blankets, towels and shampoos/soaps can be provided for an additional fee. Regrettably, they will not be offering their kids horse camps this summer.
White Pine operates under a special use permit on the Bridger-Teton National Forest. They are located ten miles from Pinedale with paved road access along Skyline Drive with beautiful views of Fremont and Half Moon Lake along the way. They are surrounded by National Forest and offer access to many miles of nearby multi-use trails as well as close access to the Bridger Wilderness Area. White Pine can provide a guide for outdoor trips.
