June 12 2020 Smoke map Source: Bridger-Teton National Forest

Smoke from wildfires in area states drifted into the Upper Green River Valley Saturday morning causing yellow skies and tears to sensitive eyes. Wildfires burning in Arizona seem to have been the cause. The Bridger-Teton National Forest will be doing some prescribed burning west of LaBarge in June and July, but the smoke on Saturday wasn’t from those, sources say.
