Flu Clinics offered in October

September 19, 2019
Flu season is right around the corner and the state’s Department of Health is urging residents to get their flu shots. It is nearly impossible to predict the severity of the flu season ahead of time, but we can always predict that it is coming. Flu is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses that infect the nose, throat, and sometimes the lungs. It can cause mild to severe illness, and at times can lead to death.
The best way to prevent flu is by getting a flu vaccine each year. Flu vaccinations are recommended for most individuals over 6 months of age. Flu shots can be obtained at your local Public Health Office. Please call Sublette County Public Health for more information at 307-367-2157.
