Greenhouse gardening workshop Feb. 5

The Sage and Snow Garden Club is presenting a workshop for greenhouse gardeners on "Heating and Cooling a Greenhouse" on Monday, February 5, 6:30PM in the Lovatt Room of the Pinedale Library. The workshop is free and open to the public. Three different sizes of greenhouses will be showcased, and three local presenters will share their experiences with greenhouse gardening. Topics include: *using shade cloth to moderate heat in a greenhouse *using heat tape in beds and containers to extend the growing season *using barrels and buckets of water to collect, store, and distribute heat *using solar-heated water tanks to pre-heat irrigation water
