Slow work to replace 17 downed power poles in Jackson Hole from winter storm February 10, 2017 A powerful winter storm with strong winds caused 17 power poles to be blown down in Jackson Hole earlier in the week taking down power to customers in Jackson, Teton Village, and the Kendall Valley area of the Upper Green. Workers are battling deep snow, winter conditions, and road closures delaying delivery of needed parts to get new poles put up and lines restrung. As of the latest report, crews have replaced four of the 17 downed poles and are hoping to be back operational by Monday (Feb. 13th).
