Mountains of Hope

The walks begin at 8 p.m. on both days. The August 9th walk will begin at the Big Piney Recreation Center parking lot, and end at the corner of U.S. Highway 189. The August 10th walk will begin at the Pinedale High School parking lot and end at the American Legion Park. A candlelight vigil will be held following both walks to commemorate those Wyoming residents who were lost to suicide. This events are free and anyone is welcome to attend. Participants are encouraged to carry pictures of loved ones they lost by suicide. Southwest Counseling Service is hosting this event, along with the Prevention Management Organization of Wyoming.
