Weather Advisory: Thunderstorms

The National Weather Service is advising that thunderstorms, with dangerous lightening, gusty winds and small hail possible this afternoon and evening across western Wyoming. While a few thunderstorms have occurred through the winter, the threat today is the highest it has been since last year. Lightning will be the greatest danger to snowmobilers and skiers in higher mountains. Avoid tall objects and isolated clusters of trees if lightning occurs. Move to lower ground and seek shelter indoors if possible. Advisory for Upper Green River Basin, Wyoming Range, Tetons, Salt River & Gros Ventre Ranges, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone National Park, south Lincoln County.
