Death Notice: Bill Milleg

At approximately 2:30 p.m. on Thursday October 27th, the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding a missing person in the area of Middle Piney Road west of Big Piney. Family members reported 66 year old Bill Milleg had been missing since earlier in the day. Sheriff’s Office deputies and members of Tip Top Search and Rescue responded to the location and began a search of the area. After a brief search the body of Mr. Milleg was discovered. Preliminary investigation determined the cause of death as a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office extends its condolences to the family of Mr. Milleg.
