More snow on the way

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow, which is in effect from 6:00 pm Sunday evening to midnight Monday night for the western Wind River Range, Salt River Range and Wyoming Range mountains.
Snow will occur in mountains Sunday and increase by Monday morning. Snow will continue through late Monday night. Snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches an hour will occur at times Monday and Monday evening. Total snowfall will range from 12 to 16 inches.
A Winter Storm Warning means severe winter weather conditions are imminent or highly likely.
Numerous winter weather advisories and warnings are in effect for many areas of western and central Wyoming Sunday night through early Tuesday morning.
A vigorous Pacific storm system will bring significant snowfall to portions of western and central Wyoming Sunday night, primarily along a swath from the Star Valley, Upper Green River Basin, Wind River Mountains northeastward into Johnson County. Snow will increase across central Wyoming around midnight Sunday night as northeast upslope flow develops across the area behind a slow moving cold front.
Snowfall across central Wyoming is expected to continue through late Monday evening. By Tuesday morning, total snow accumulations of 3 to 8 inches are expected in the lower elevations with 12 to 18 inches in the east slopes of the Wind River Mountains and in the Big Horn Mountains. Expect highways to become slick and snow-packed.
