The Wyoming Game and Fish Department reports that wildlife agency personnel were successful at trapping elk at the Muddy Creek elk feedground on Monday night. The elk were handled and processed for brucellosis testing Tuesday, including 54 adult females.

Blood samples from the 54 cow elk were sent to the Wyoming State Veterinary Laboratory in Laramie for processing. Animals with seropositive tests will be sent to slaughter.
