Workforce Solutions Summit May 31-June 1
Governor’s Summit in Jackson at Snow King Lodge
May 16, 2007
Wyoming's workforce shortage is one of the most crucial issues facing all businesses and communities in the State, both large and small. Due to the State's low population, consistently low unemployment rate and continuing economic growth, Wyoming's industries are struggling to hire and retain the skilled workforce they need to prosper. This Summit is designed to assist Wyoming businesses and communities in developing solutions to the many workforce issues they and the State faces.
A unique feature to this year's Summit is the inclusion of five facilitated regional Summit meetings. Time has been set aside for businesses to meet with other businesses in their regions and discuss solutions to their unique problems. One month following the Summit, the regional Summit groups will re-convene to push forward the agenda established at the Summit.
Wyoming's businesses and communities will be hard-pressed to find more well-rounded workforce-related information than that which will be found at this Summit. Dates: May 31st - June 1st, 2007 at the Snow King Lodge, Jackson, WY. Cost to register is $125 for individuals.
Who Should Attend the Summit: Training Professionals, HR Directors, Chief Learning Officers, CEO/COO/Vice-Presidents, Business Owners, Economic Developers, Policy Makers, Education Professionals, Anyone interested in Workforce and Economic Development.
