Gentlemen Prefer Blondes

Pinedale was treated to a truly delightful stage performance of "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes", by the cast of Windwood Productions of New York. This zany musical, set in the Roaring ‘20s, follows the mad-cap adventures of gold-digger chorus girl Lorelei Lee and her voyage aboard to Paris on the Ile de France with her fun-loving friend, Dorothy Shaw. The 2-hour production featured a live orchestra and cast of 40 with lively dance and musical numbers including, "Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend" and "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes". This was the final performance in the Pinedale Fine Art Council’s 2005/2006 season series.
