White Pine opens Nov. 24
2 Runs and both lifts will be open on Thanksgiving

(Pinedale) UPDATE 11/23/05: It's a go! White Pine Ski Area will open on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24, according to Stuart Thompson, General Manager for White Pine. The ski area has been making snow and will have two runs open November 24th.
Both the Big Spirit and Little Spirit lifts will be operating over the weekend. Because of the limited number of open runs, cost for an All-Day Lift Ticket will be just $15 opening weekend.
Lifts are open from 9 am to 4 pm. Ski and snowboard rentals are available from the White Pine Ski & Sport shop in the lodge, open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Food services will be available at the lodge. The 3rd floor bar and restaurant should be open by the end of next week. The White Pine Cabins are expected to be available mid-December.
The webcams should be operational soon to give the view of the current conditions from the lodge and top of the ski hill. The radio communications equipment that sends out the camera pictures is being replaced and realigned, and there have been some technical challenges along the way, which should be wrapped up soon. White Pine thanks everyone for their patience through their summer construction and upgrades!
