November 1, 2005
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Pinedale Field Office and the Bridger-Teton National Forest will host a public meeting to share information concerning the recently designated South South Rim Unitization Exploratory project. The meeting will be held at the Pinedale Fire Hall at 130 S. Fremont Avenue in Pinedale from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, November 9th.
The South Rim Unit is an oil and gas exploratory unit designated by the BLM on October 4, 2005. The Unit, which straddles the South Rim of the Hoback Basin about 20 miles northwest of Daniel, Wyoming, encompasses about 19,500 acres of federal minerals. The western half of the Unit is located on U.S. Forest Service-administered lands. The eastern half is primarily on split-estate lands that contain the western portion of the Hoback Ranches subdivision.
