(Pinedale) The Sublette County Chamber of Commerce has many fun events planned for the holidays with their, "Mountain Man Christmas in Pinedale, Wyoming." Saturday is the big day with the tree lighting, caroling and night-time Christmas parade down Pine Street. Many downtown businesses will be open until 8 pm on Saturday to give families a chance to do holiday shopping. The Chamber will also be hosting a "Best Decorated Business" contest.
For anyone wanting to enter a float in the Christmas Parade, create a lighted float with the Mountain Man Christmas theme. Floats will be judged and prizes awarded in three categories: non-profit/organization floats, small business floats, corporate floats. There will also be several special Judge’s Choice awards. The parade route will be from A to Z Hardware (on Hwy 191 on the west end of Pinedale) to Faler’s parking lot (east end of Pinedale). Contact the Sublette County Chamber of Commerce for more details.
Pictures with Santa Kids will get three chances to have their pictures taken with Santa. He will be at the Sublette County Library Thursday-Saturday, December 8-10th. Times are 10 am – 5 pm Thursday and Friday, and from 9 am – 5 pm on Saturday. Santa pictures are a fundraiser for the Pinedale FFA. The Library will be accepting book donations for libraries that were victims of Hurricane Katrina. If you have books you’d like to donate, please bring them when you come to the Kid’s Christmas Party.

Pinedale Mountain Man Christmas Parade Enter a float or just come and watch the night-time parade and colorful lights on Pine Street.
Library Kids Christmas Party Immediately following the Mountain Man Christmas Parade on Saturday. Open house with treats and crafts for children until 8 pm at the Sublette County Library in Pinedale.
