Pocket Creek fire Photo courtesy Bridger-Teton National Forest

Firefighters responded quickly to a wildfire east of Boulder in the Pocket Creek area. Units from Sublette County Unified Fire, the Bridger-Teton National Forest, and Bureau of Land Management responded. Several residents were evacuated along with livestock. Approximately 225 acres were burned, and several buildings were destroyed. Aerial support helped get the fire under control.
