Black Tie & Blues
Tuesday, December 31, Pinedale Entertainment Center, 9:00 PM??
Get ready for the Pinedale Fine Arts Council Black Tie & Blues Casino Night this New Year's Eve. The annual Black Tie and Blues is PFAC's main fundraiser for the year and funds generated help support the fine arts programs PFAC brings to the community each year. Festivities will be held at the Pinedale Entertainment Center on New Year's Eve beginning at 9 PM
This year will be bigger and better than ever with the event theme of Casino Night. Game tables will include Black Jack, Craps, Bingo, Poker and a Wheel of Fortune. Any cash that is exchanged for playing chips will be considered a donation to PFAC. In order to keep the Casino Night legal, there will be no cash winnings. Winnings come in the form of tickets that can be used to buy a chance at raffle items or used to buy a chance to win other prizes. Other activities include champagne at the door, live auction items, a silent auction, door prizes, dance contests, a pinata, and champagne breakfast at midnight. Andy Nelson will join Lars Michnevich to MC the evening. Silent auction items can be previewed beginning Monday, December 30th in the afternoon at the Pinedale Entertainment Center.
Each year, PFAC offers many fabulous raffle items at Black Tie & Blues, and this year is no exception. Raffle items include:

  • "Outhouse" Garden Potting Shed complete with garden tools. Designed, built and donated by the Barn Door
  • Custom-made Inlaid Game Table Designed, built and donated by David Klaren
  • Lodgepole Yard Swing Designed, built and donated by John Walter of Frontier Furnishings
  • Fossil Fish Piece Unique and beautiful piece designed by James Bond, donated by George and Pam Peck.

The Outhouse and Fossil Fish piece are on display at the Pinedale Library. Raffle tickets are $10 each or six for $50. Admission to the Black Tie & Blues Casino Night is $20/person with tickets available at the usual ticket outlets. PFAC is still recruiting volunteers to help deal at the game tables. Anyone who would like to help, please call Cyd at the PFAC office at 367-7322.
